Last week we completed a job in Grand Blanc that involved removing two small pine trees and trimming a locust tree near the home.
The pines were in a good position for a fast and efficient removal, so we used the skid steer to safely push them over and process them right on site. This method keeps things controlled, minimizes unnecessary climbing, and helps us move quickly without sacrificing safety.
Once the trees were down, everything was fed directly into the chipper, keeping the job site clean as we worked.
For the locust tree, the goal was to reduce risk around the house while improving the overall structure. We focused on removing problem limbs and cleaning it up without overdoing it—keeping the tree healthy while making the property safer.
We always look at each job and choose the method that makes the most sense for the situation. In this case, using the equipment we had on site allowed us to get everything done efficiently and keep costs reasonable for the customer.
Below is a time-lapse from the job showing the skid steer pushing over the pines and feeding the chipper.
